Yes, Pinoys Can!
I've been helping an all-Filipino team to create a consumer tech product. Sorry, can't give out details for now. But here is what we can reveal for now.
It's something that will demonstrate that we Filipinos can produce a tech product locally. The R&D is being done garage-style -- lower costs, virtual collaboration, team mates contributing labor beyond their day jobs because they believe in this project.

We are InoventDesign, a young Filipino Industrial Design Firm with big dreams to go global.
For the past few months we've been hard at work building a prototype of a Filipino Consumer Tech Gadget --- something category-breaking that can hopefully leapfrog the industry.
What's both humbling and exciting is that we've built this prototype "bootstrapping from a garage" style, a la Apple and HP ... with the aspiration of creating something groundbreaking that will hopefully catapult our country into the global stage. A Filipino Apple, HP, Samsung, Sony ...
